
Rajish Sagoenie
Rajish Sagoenie is a principal in the Amsterdam office of Milliman, where, since 2011, Rajish has been managing director. Rajish is responsible for a wide variety of projects and assignments for corporate clients.
As an advising actuary, Rajish primarily works for corporate clients and pension funds. His focus primarily lies with providing strategic (pension) advice for corporates, both nationally and internationally, and he acts as the appointed actuary for several pension funds. He advises multinational organizations on their employee benefits arrangements around the world.
Experience
Rajish serves as leader of the Employee Benefits (EB) Practice in the Netherlands, Milliman’s first EB practice in Europe. He is specialized in helping large corporate clients and pension funds with issues like plan design, funding, cost projection, valuation, solvency, risk management, and execution of their pension plans in a volatile financial and changing environment.Trained as an actuary and a consultant, most of his projects involve using his actuarial, financial, and consulting expertise to solve pension problems with practical solutions. As a certified actuary and consultant, he regularly leads international projects and assignments of a strategical and operational nature and ensures pragmatic client-oriented solutions.
Rajish is qualified and has an AFM license to advise corporates.
Rajish has in-depth and actual knowledge of the pension market in which he works, including regulatory and financial areas. This helps him to create innovative client solutions.
Within the client practice, Rajish’s operates as a consulting actuary for corporate clients (including IFRS and IAS19 valuations), insurance companies, and unions. Rajish has a strong focus on consulting to the boards of pension funds and on being the appointed actuary for several other pension funds.
