Tyler Schulze

Tyler has more than 10 years of experience advising state Medicaid agencies on actuarial strategy, financing, and program design. Tyler develops managed care capitation rates, implements risk adjustment approaches, analyzes the impact of policy changes, and provides actuarial support for 1115, 1915(b), and 1915(c) waivers. He also assists states in implementing and evaluating value-based purchasing programs. An additional focus of Tyler's is assisting clients in identifying and assessing anomalous healthcare claim patterns indicative of potential waste, fraud, or abuse.
