Good practices in the application of predictive analytics

This presentation given at the Society of Actuaries in Ireland’s Annual convention (24th May 2019) provides insight into current activity amongst life insurers in Ireland and leading practices in predictive analytics and data science from a US perspective. Furthermore it provides practical insights into a real-life application of these techniques through a detailed case study, from data preparation through modelling, validation, deployment, and governance.
