Brandy’s area of expertise is pharmacy management and PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly). Her current responsibilities include pharmacy management services, prescription drug analysis, and Medicare Part D bid development.
Brandy has more than 20 years of experience working with plan sponsors. Before Milliman, she held pharmacy management roles and was responsible for leading a large pharmacy team performing drug analytics and modeling, including overseeing pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) operations and compliance, customer service, and clinical operations, including utilization management and formulary design. Brandy assists major health insurance companies and employers in managing their pharmacy benefits, including PBM, audits, and evaluations, through requests for proposals, operational support, and strategy. In addition, her work includes contract negotiations with pharmacy benefit managers and specialty pharmacies.
Her insurer experience includes risk adjustment operations, short-term medical pricing, rate filing, and monitoring compliance in nearly all states.
