Jeremy is a principal and consulting actuary in the Milan office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 2000.
Experience
Jeremy has over 30 years of industry experience. He has been involved in a wide range of actuarial projects and specialises in international life insurance work.
His recent consulting projects have included:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- IFRS17 and other accounting measures
- Economic capital, including Solvency II
- Actuarial modelling
- Asset-liability management
- Product development
- EEV and MCEV reviews
Prior to working with Milliman, Jeremy worked for 11 years for Aviva in the UK and European divisions.
In 1992, Jeremy received the prize for achieving the highest mark in the life assurance specialist examination of the UK Institute of Actuaries.
He has co-authored a number of actuarial papers, including “S2AV: A valuation method for insurance companies under Solvency II” and “Impact of IFRS 17 on insurance product pricing and design.”
