Preliminary QIS results on IORPs

The European Insurance and Occupational Pension Authority (EIOPA) is in the process of reviewing the directive on the Institutions for Occupational Retirement Provision (IORP directive). The aim of the directive is to ensure European regulatory consistency across sectors and enhance members’ and beneficiaries’ protection. This paper summarises the first aggregated QIS IORP results with a specific focus on differences among EU countries and describes the next steps of the IORP directive review.
